Workshop

The Project Implementation

Young volunteers from Visegrad 4 (V4) countries have attended a 5-day workshop aimed at eliminating prejudices about migrants and other minority groups. Invited experts from different fields including, education, psychology, civic society and governmental spheres, promoted positive aspects of diversity through lectures, discussions, and experiential learning that further encouraged young people’s personal engagement and opinion forming. During the workshop, volunteers actively contributed to carefully select the chapters for the information bulletin that summarizes the knowledge, games, and discussions of the workshop. These topics were selected with the close focus on what can be beneficial and comprehensible for children age 11-12, who will be the volunteer target audience during the second implementation phase of this project. The results will be compiled and shared on project website www.withoutprejudice.sk.

The second implementation phase of tolerance for diversity in formal education (elementary schools) by volunteers will take place from January 2018 onwards.
